Tips for taking great detail shots!

Details are a huge part of telling a story.  I for one am a little obsessed with details.  On a wedding day I love photographing the shoes, dress, flowers, invitations, cake, oh gosh you name it. Dave always makes fun of me for saying "oh my gosh" and clapping when I see new details I love at an event. I can't help it!I want to share a few tips on how to get great detail shots:#1 Things look good in 3's. Yup even Christmas ornaments on a tress look good in bunches of three#2 Move your details to the best lighting and backdrop in order to get you best shot! I am always moving details closer to the window or outside to get better light.
