Why I love, LOVE! Happy Valentine's Day!
Happy Valentine’s Day, ya’ll! February 14th marks that one day a year we set aside to shower those we care for most with all the love in the world with hugs and kisses and maybe a gift or two. ;) Yes, I do believe showing your love all year long is just as important but it’s exciting to have a day other than your anniversary to celebrate what is special between the two of you! One of my most favorite things in the world is LOVE, which is what drives me to create timeless images for all of my couples!True love is timeless and will stand the test of time! Not saying that it’s always a walk in the park, because Lord, it is work! Love is a feeling that isn’t only felt with your significant other but it could also be between you and your children, best friends, or even a love for your four legged family member! It’s such a warm feeling and makes you feel complete when you get to experience that. We take the time at the end of every year during Thanksgiving and Christmas to reflect on why we’re so thankful and what we look forward to achieving personally in the following year. I love celebrating Valentines Day because it’s a moment to reflect with your significant other about the adventures the two of you have been through and what you look forward to tackling together! When I started shooting weddings, I knew early on this is what I was meant to do. I have always loved the idea of love and being able to capture that feeling brings me so much joy! Seeing the love between a bride and groom is what you immediately think of but what about the rest of the guests? The love you see in the father’s eye’s as he’s about to see his little girl marry the man of her dreams fills my heart so much! For me personally, I love coming home to Dave and Bugsy after I’ve been traveling for work. After all this time I still get that nervous/ excited feeling in my stomach after I haven’t seen them for a few days!I hope ya’ll have a great Valentine’s Day and take a moment to spend it with someone who gives you that warm fuzzy feeling! Today doesn’t have to be a large production to prove how much you love your partner; it could simply be a walk in the park and coming home to make dinner together! Maybe you're thinking about popping "the question" this Valentine's Day?! Don't just wing it, here's some tips to plan the perfect proposal! Don’t have a significant other this Valentine’s Day? No worries, grab your girls, pour a glass of rose and watch your favorite rom-com! You’ll still be celebrating the love you all share together!
