3 Things to Remember as a Bridesmaid
Summer is upon us and so is wedding season!
For some of you ladies that may mean being a part of your bestie’s bridal party!
If you’ve been in a wedding before you probably know things probably won’t go as smoothly as one would hope.
Chances are you are going to be planning events with a group of girls who aren’t in your inner circle so it can be a little challenging.
Here are a few things to remember when being a part of your friend’s big day!
Tip 1: Be a Team Player
Don’t use this as your moment to prove why you’re the better friend! This is the time to help plan one of the biggest days of your friend’s life. Don’t be that friend who won't cooperate and complains about the other girls to the bride. She’s under enough stress already!
Tip 2: Bachelorette Party
When it comes to planning the bachelorette party, think about what the bride will enjoy doing. Not everyone is into the night on the town with phallic party favors. Maybe her style is more of a low key weekend get away in the mountains with her favorite ladies or spending the day at a wine tasting. Do something out of the norm!
Tip 3: Show up!
Just like all those other times in the brides life she’s going to need your support now more than ever. This is a stressful time so offer to show up to dress fittings, venue scoutings or even offer to pick up her cousin from the airport! If you see she is overwhelmed, just show her you’re there for her. It won’t be forgotten!
